STAGECOACH STOP
Come stay in a charming early 1800's German Stone Fachwerk Guest House in Mason, Texas. This building is said by many of the old-timers to be the original stagecoach stop in Mason and is conveniently located within walking distance of the town's square where you can dine, shop, visit museums, enjoy live entertainment or take in a movie at Mason's historic Odeon Theater.
Accommodations at the Stagecoach Stop include a living room with comfortable seating, dining room ~ study, a country kitchen with full size stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker and a cozy bedroom with full size bed. Tile floors and stucco walls throughout. Wood ceilings enhance the feel of rustic charm. Central heat and air and generous off street parking.
The Stagecoach Stop is set back from the street under large shade trees with good privacy and has a wonderful porch to sit, relax and watch the world go by. The interior yard is fenced, perfect for young ones or pets.
This lodging shares the property on 1.5 acres with the Hoerster Guest House and both are situated within a perimeter fence. Horses are welcome in the outer yard, as well.
