DOELL HAUS
A delightful stay is in store at this renovated Tudor-styled brick home. Located on a quiet, tree-lined street, the Doell Haus (pronounced DELL) is not far from the busy-ness of downtown yet guests will find the setting to be peaceful and serene.
The home, built in the 1930's by Roy and Mary Doell, has been recently renovated with fresh interiors to highlight the expansive windows and multi-pane glass doors which brighten the large rooms. Plantation shutters offer privacy when desired. Graceful archways connecting the common rooms reflect back to those found in the exterior architecture.
The primary bedroom has a king size iron bedstead, picture-frame shuttered windows along with an attached shower bath with double vanity. The shower is large and features an additional handheld sprayer above the conveniently placed tiled seat.
The second bedroom provides a pair of XL twin beds, with ample closets and features a picturesque reading nook beneath the picture-frame shuttered windows.
The second bath is in the hallway immediately adjacent, with shower ~ tub combo. An ample supply of linens compliment each of the bedrooms and baths for guests' convenience.
The large living room is at the forefront of the home, with a flat screen, ROKU equipped SMART TV, comfortable chairs and a sofa which makes out to a queen bed when needed. There is Wi-Fi provided, a courtesy to guests

The generous sized dining room is next to the kitchen, with large table seating 6. Grand for sharing a meal or for cards, dominoes or gathering over a jigsaw puzzle!
The fully equipped kitchen features brand new appliances, counters and cupboards. Top freezer/refrigerator, smooth-top electric range, dishwasher, Keurig dual-brew coffeemaker, toaster, electric kettle plus dishes, glassware and cookware!
The stacking washer/dryer is in the utility area at rear entry.
The outdoor living areas begin with an open patio across the front, perfect for neighborhood visiting! Connecting and slightly to the side, is the traditional brick archway leading to the covered porch with French doors peeking into the home.
The double deep rear yard is nicely shaded and expansive with wire fencing at the rear and picket fencing nearest the house. A patio setting is in the works for enjoying this area fully!
As a guesthouse, breakfast is not included but your hosts provide an assortment of coffees, teas, hot cereals and treats.
Well behaved canines under 40 lbs. are welcome, at additional $25 pr stay
